Passing it on to the next generation

I grew up with sporadic, light BWB canning (tomatoes and peaches). Pressure canning (mostly chicken) has been an acquired late in life skill. So is pressure cooking.
Last night as my 18yo son was making chicken salad from home canned chicken he asked “mom, when I move out will you buy me a pressure canner?” I said, you mean a pressure COOKER instead of a crock pot. He replied, NO, I mean pressure CANNER. I want to be self sufficient and always be able to put food by.
